WEB OPERATIONS & SECURITY SPECIALIST JOB TITLE Cross-Border Web Operations & Security Specialist跨境网络运营安全专家 LOCATION Remote COMMITMENT Project-based (Includes 12-month Retainer) COMPENSATION One-Time Project Fee (Security Solution & Migration): ￥10,000 (Paid upon successful project sign-off) Monthly Retainer Fee (12-Month Maintenance): ￥1500/month (Paid monthly) THE ROLE You will be responsible for overseeing the secure migration and ongoing maintenance of our prestigious law firm's website, currently hosted on Wix, to a new, highly reliable, and fault-tolerant hosting platform. The primary mission is to ensure superior accessibility (especially from China), deploy robust anti-hacker and DDoS defense strategies, and maintain an aesthetic that reflects a high-end, professional law firm. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Security Strategy & Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive network security plan, focusing heavily on mitigating advanced threats such as DDoS attacks and ensuring overall platform integrity. Platform Migration: Plan and execute the full migration of the current website data and functionality from Wix to a new, more secure and reliable hosting platform. This includes current network data backup and data transfer to the new server (prioritizing US access). Cross-Border Accessibility: Select a hosting solution and configure routing to ensure fault-free, high-speed access from both the US (priority) and Mainland China. Aesthetic & Reliability: Ensure the new hosting service has reliable, fault-free routing, can fix issues quickly and accurately, and maintains an aesthetic suitable for a prestigious law firm. Ongoing Maintenance: Provide monthly maintenance and monitoring services post-migration for a one-year period, ensuring platform stability, security updates, and performance optimization. REQUIREMENTS Expertise: Proven experience as a Web Operations Specialist, Network Security Consultant, or similar role, with strong proficiency in implementing anti-DDoS and anti-hacker solutions. Migration Experience: Demonstrated success in migrating production websites from platforms like Wix to more robust, secure hosting environments. Cross-Border Networking: Deep technical understanding of networking and routing issues affecting access between the US and China. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required for technical documentation and potential communication. Commitment & Budget: Willingness to provide one-time migration services followed by a 12-month maintenance retainer. The total project cost must align with the provided range. Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to quickly and accurately fix issues and implement contingency plans. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience setting up hosting solutions for legal, financial, or other highly sensitive industries. Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to cross-border data or highly professional websites. Experience with advanced CDN configurations for China accessibility.
